QMS (Quality Management System) Initiatives

Our company promotes the following activities based on JIS Q 9001/9100.
1. We provide products and services that meet customer requirements and legal and regulatory requirements, striving to enhance customer satisfaction.
2. We will comply with laws and regulations as well as internal rules based on our management philosophy, corporate code of conduct, and quality manual.
3. Top management and all employees work together to plan and implement the objectives and targets of the QMS.
4. We continuously improve the effectiveness of our QMS through the PDCA cycle to respond to changing societal and customer needs.

Certification Acquisition Information

JIS Q 9001（ISO9001 : 2015）

July 1998：Achieved certification for aircraft-related products.
July 1999：Certification obtained for special equipment-related products.
July 2001：Honeycomb and Composite Materials Related Products Certification Achieved.
July 2018：Updated to JIS Q 9001:2015. (ISO 9001:2015)

Scope of Certification
•　Design, development, manufacturing, and service provision of defense equipment. (excluding aircraft)
•　Design, development, and manufacturing of special vehicles and related equipment.
•　Design, development, manufacturing, and service provision of honeycomb sandwich structures for non-aerospace applications.

•　Head Office and Akishima Plant: Same as the scope of certification.
•　Sendai Sales Office / Kansai Sales Office: Sales and contract operations for special vehicles and related equipment.

JIS Q 9100（AS9100 : 2016）

Sept. 2003：Certification obtained for aircraft equipment, airframe components, maintenance support equipment, aerospace honeycomb core materials, and composite airframe components.
July 2018：Updated to JIS Q 9100:2016
July 2001：Honeycomb and Composite Materials Related Products Certification Achieved
Feb. 2023：Showa Aircraft Industry Philippines Inc. has obtained certification.
