Showa has obtained supplier’s qualification from Euro NCAP MPDB！

- In January 2022, Showa has been awarded and approved as official supplier of Euro NCAP MPDB (Honeycomb barrier for offset frontal impact test).

- In June 2020, dynamic testing of MPDB has been implemented by UTAC (French laboratory). Subsequently in October 2021, evaluation test against actual vehicle has been implemented by BASt (German laboratory).
- Showa’s MPDB has passed both of tests to satisfy the severe performance requirements and has obtained Euro NCAP qualification.
- (In 2013, Showa has already obtained qualification of Euro NCAP AE-MDB.)
