History
Reliable technology based on the tradition of Showa Aircraft
Showa Aircraft Industry was established in 1937 with the grand vision of manufacturing the latest aircraft. At that time, it produced more than 800 large aircraft such as the Douglas DC-3 transport plane. After the war, the company was involved in repairing U.S. military aircraft and also participated in the development of the YS-11, Japan's first domestically produced passenger plane, maintaining a connection with 'aviation' for over half a century.

Currently, we possess a diverse range of capabilities based on the advanced technological expertise we have cultivated in aircraft manufacturing. For example, this includes the production of aluminum tank trucks utilizing aluminum welding technology, aircraft fuel refueling vehicles that hold the top domestic market share, aircraft body parts and cabin equipment, and various honeycomb products, as well as the expansion of our manufacturing business in the transportation equipment sector.
All of these are the result of the challenging spirit that has been present since our founding, striving to take on new things.1
